STANHOPE ESTATE HOUSE AND OUTBUILDINGS - History
Stanhope House was architecturally designed and built in 1867 by William Winter Irving. The Winter family owned large tracks of land in the area and Stanhope House was on 32,000 acres. Winter Irving built other houses for his sons on the property, Robgill, Bonshaw, Lauderdale. Stanhope House was sold in 1913 and in the 1990s the property (now known as Baker's Farm) was bought by Bonlac Foods.STANHOPE ESTATE HOUSE AND OUTBUILDINGS - Interpretation of Site

STANHOPE ESTATE HOUSE AND OUTBUILDINGS - Heritage Inventory Description
Single storey brick house with driveway access to Rushworth to Stanhope Road. All internal fittings have been removed and kitchen building has collapsed. There are visible foundations of a brick rectangular building on the southern side of the driveway with farm machinery remains.
Regional significance due to association with Winter Irving family, house design and age.
Singel storey brick house (standing), kitchen (collapsed), toilet (standing), exotic trees including a very Morton Bay Fig incorporated into Garden area, original driveway, outbuildings on southern side of driveway (at least one structure) (collapsed), associated machinery, rubbish dump and collapsed watertank on northern side of driveway.
