San Remo War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The San Remo War Memorial, located in the Marine Park, commemorates the First World War, Second World War, Korea and Vietnam. The monument resembles a pink granite plinth with bronze plaques and timber flagpole on a concrete apron. The plaque was laid by San Remo RSL members and dedicated by Mr. R W Wheeler, Senior Vice President State Research Branch RSL, on June 28th 1987.
