Statement of Significance
The Alvie War Memorial is in the form of a stone obelisk. It was erected to commemorate WW1. Other War memorials in Alvie comprise stone tablets in the primary school grounds, for former students. It was unveiled by General Birdwood on the 24th of March 1920.
