Tyabb Soldiers Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Tyabb Soldiers Memorial, on the Frankston-Flinders Road, comprises of a grey granite obelisk. The names of those who served in the First World War are chiselled into three of the faces of this pillar. Eight sturdy brick pillars covered in a deep grey stucco and joined by poles surround the monument which stands upon a concrete base. Two north facing bronze plaques also commemorate the Second World War, Korea, Malaya, Borneo and Vietnam.
