Terrace Houses - Physical Description 1
These terrace houses were constructed in 1871/72 for Mr. C. Thomas, a surveyor, and were amongst the earliest houses in Camp Street. The design and conception of these terraces is simple but refined. The sway bellied cast iron balustrading, the simple verandah post and brackets, and the timber framed frieze are all early, as are the fence palisades with narrow foliated tops, the French doors and the simple cornice to the parapet.
This terrace pair forms an important streetscape component; the face brickwork has been painted and the chimneys have been altered. They are in sound condition and are substantially intact.
