7th Royal Australian Regiment (RAR) Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The 7th Royal Australian Regiment (RAR) Memorial Plaque, located inside the Puckapunyal Memorial Park, is dedicated to those who served in the Vietnam War. Thirty-three died on service in Vietnam on 7RAR's two tours, from 1967 to 1968 and from 1970 to 1971. Buried in Victoria are:
- Private Donald Raymond Aylett, killed in action on 6 August 1967, buried in Tatura Cemetery.
- Private Barleif Alfred Harstad, died of wounds on 6 August 1967, buried in Springvale Cemetery.
- Private Norman Victor G. Hawken, died of wounds on 22 November 1967, buried in Kaniva Cemetery.
- Private Allan Lloyd, killed in action on 30 December 1970, buried in Traralgon Cemetery.
- Private David Geoffrey Milford, killed in action on 6 August 1967, buried in Harcourt Cemetery.
- Private John Navarre, killed in action on 6 June 1970, buried in Beechworth Cemetery.
- Private Robert Graham Perrin, died of wounds on 2 February 1968, buried in Cheltenham New Cemetery.
- Private Alan Talbot, killed in action on 1 February 1971, buried in Fawkner Cemetery.
