GARDEN GULLY ROAD RUIN - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: The landowner states that there was a house on the site "before his time" (c 70 years) and that a chimney stood there until about 30 years ago.

Heritage Inventory Interpretation: An early house site, or possibly a gold rush era hotel.

GARDEN GULLY ROAD RUIN - Heritage Inventory Description
The site consists of a ruinous structure, marked by the remains of a stone fireplace with stones set in mud mortar. There a few scattered hand made bricks.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Probably a gold rush building of local historical significance. There is good potential for further archaeological investigation.
