Madowla Park Homestead Group Classification: Homestead, Homestead Buildings & Woolshed.
Group Statement of Significance:Built from the 1860s by Robert Kinnear, extended from 1882 by Sir John O'Shannassy, Matthew O'Shanassy and H T Littlewood and from 1904 by the Hon William Cain, attractively sited by the Madowla Lagoon in a small well-established garden by a grove of pepper trees.

Homestead Buildings Statement of Significance: A simple weatherboard homestead with extensive verandahs built in stages from 1862, including a storehouse of possibly earlier date in horizontal slab construction, a meat house of later period built to be water cooled and a 2-compartment privy with whimsical timber ornament.

Woolshed Statement of Significance: Front gables and weatherboard panelling, some horizontal slab construction in side wall and extensions in galvanised iron.

Station Buildings Statement of Significance: A group predominently of corrugated iron on rough timber framing built from the 1860s and including stables for hacks and for buggy horses, harness rooms, blacksmith's forge, work horse stables with high feed left, engine house and traction engine formerly operating a food elevator, saw-bench etc. wagon sheds, horse yards and milking sheds.
