Outstanding example of species
This tree is a very attractive example of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana forming a prominent planting in the cemetery. Its almost perfect form and size contributes to its significance.
The Lawson Cypress is native to Oregon and northern California and an important timber tree of the Pacific Northwest.
