Outstanding size
This is a tall specimen of Sequoia sempervirens planted in the grounds of the Ovens District Hospital in 1874, where it is growing among other fine specimens of Cedars and Bunya Bunya Pines.
The hospital was erected between 1856 and 1864 and the remaining facade is classified by the National Trust.
