Heritage Inventory Interpretation: The three features may initially have been associated - now only the Geddes' house remains. The ruined house site 3 is located next to a natural spring.

PHILLIPS ROAD HOMESTEAD SITES - Heritage Inventory Description
The site consists of three distinct structures/ ruins that were probably initially associated . Area 1 is a home site with remnant original plantings. 2. Currently occupied house and expansive garden. 3. Early home site with granite chimney base and some wall remains.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Moderate archaeological and historical significance

Heritage Inventory Site Features: - house site with no visible features (oral record), except for a remnant garden - fruit trees south of site with poplar, olive, conifers and white cedar in the vicinity. - house site with granite chimney base and some wall remains. Fruit tree. - Geddes' house and garden (occupied), historic house (circa 1825), sheds, expansive garden including pine, cypress and fruit trees.
