SPORTSMAN'S INN - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: Former site of the Sportsman's Hotel. Chris Comini confirms that this area was also used as a police paddock and horse changing point. The site also served as the first Ravenswood school.

SPORTSMAN'S INN - Heritage Inventory Description
Remains of a granite and brick hotel. Area disturbed by bottle hunters. scattered brick and occasional artefacts over the surface. some in situ granite footings visible on the south side of the site. The site is approximately 15 x 30 metres.
Heritage Inventory Significance: High archaeological significance. Despite the disturbance, there are probably well preserved in situ deposits. High local historical significance.
Heritage Inventory Site Features: Disturbed mound with a brick scatter and some apparently in situ granite footings.
