Banyena Roman Catholic Church, 3559 Banyena Road, BANYENA - Physical Description 1
The Banyena Roman Catholic Church, 3559 Banyena Road, Banyena, has a rural setting with open grassed and gravelled areas nearest the building.
The modestly scaled, cement sheet weatherboard, 20th century Gothic styled building is characterised by a simple gable roof form, with a small central gabled porch at the front. There is also a rear gabled wing that projects at the side. These roof forms are clad in galvanised corrugated steel. The pointed arched timber framed windows have been altered, with cement sheet weatherboard cladding introduced in the central and upper reaches. There are double doors in the gable porch end and a single doorway and window in the rear side wing.
