House - 'Kildonan', 81 Grampians Road, HALLS GAP - Physical Description 1
'Kildonan', 81 Grampians Road, Halls Gap, is set on a relatively flat site with a moderate set back from the street boundary. The house is a simple rectangular shape with a single gable roof which was part of the original design. A gable roofed front verandah has replaced the original skillion verandah shown in the early photograph. The roofs have been clad in corrugated Colorbond sheeting. The walls are square edged weatherboards. There is a central front door flanked by timber double hung windows. An external brick chimney has been added to one side. It appears to have been constructed of recycled bricks. The building has been extended at the rear in similar materials.
