BRITANNIA CREEK TRAMWAY SAWMILL SITE 3 - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site: Possibly opened in 1907. This was the largest mill and settlement in the valley, in 1920s boasting more than a dozen one roomed huts and five larger homes, a football team and a tennis court and later a Mechanics Institute and a school. The mill closed in 1936 and the machinery was removed from the site.Heritage Inventory Description
