Heritage Inventory History of Site: The Tratford Mill was established in 1926 and operated for three years. Production and marketing difficulties associated with the 1929 timber strike, followed by the Depression, led to the closure.Heritage Inventory Description
BULL CREEK (STRATFORD) SAWMILL - Heritage Inventory Description
The Murrindindi Walking Track follows an old tramline route and crosses the large sawdust heap of the Stratford Mill. Some evidence of the mill location and tramway cutting is evident.
