Former Ledcourt State School No. 4623, Howards Ledcourt State School Road, LEDCOURT - Physical Description 1
The former Ledcourt State School, off Howards Ledcourt State School Road, Ledcourt, is situated on a rural site surrounded by mature exotic and native trees. The modestly scaled, single storey, horizontal timber weatherboard, Victorian styled school building is characterised by a simple gable roof form. There is a small lean-to at one end which appears to have been introduced, as is the adjacent window hood and the side skillion addition. The paired multi-paned timber framed double hung windows on the gable end appear to be early. There is also an introduced finial at the apex of the gable. Generally, the building appears to have been substantially altered.
