BOTT 3 - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site:
The history of this site is largely unknown. The original activity for which it was constructed probably ceased before the land was purchased by the RAAF in 1954.
BOTT 3 - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: This site is an intact concrete jetty. Its original purpose is not known. It was probably associated with the use of lake resources before the land was purchased by the RAAF - most likely fish. The site is today used by duck hunters and recent brick work over lying the jetty is probably a result of their activity.

BOTT 3 - Heritage Inventory Description
This site is a concrete jetty which extends approximately 10 metres from the lake shore. The concrete contain large pebbles and is roughly laid. More recent cement and brickwork is evident./n
Heritage Inventory Significance: This site is of low significance
Heritage Inventory Key Components: Heritage Inventory Site Features: Recent brick work - inscription of "1987" dates this work. Concrete pile - and pile of concrete slabs located east of the access track. Picnic - very recently constructed (wood). Stakes/posts - appear recent, however, larger posts beside original cement appear older/contemporaneous with cement.
