MCCONNELL 2 - History
Heritage Inventory History of Site:
The history of this site is largely unknown. The original structure(s) assumed to be at least 50 years old. A Department of Lands and Survey Map (1954) indicates it may have been constructed by McConnell. The site was probably destroyed some time after the land was gazetted by Commonwealth - after 1954.
MCCONNELL 2 - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: This site is probably the remains of a building associated with farming activity prior to the purchase of the land by the RAAF. The site has been completely levelled - no structure or foundations of past dwellings remain.

MCCONNELL 2 - Heritage Inventory Description
This site is a scatter of bricks, ceramic and glass sherds. The material is sparsely scattered over an open grassed area. A large patch of aloe saponaria grows on the site and two plum trees are located in west of site. The site is disturbed by burrowing animals that have exposed some of the cultural material./n
