HO225 - Pizzey house, later Rose Cottage, 29 Main Street, Diamond Creek - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
This is a simple, gabled weatherboard cottage with a corrugated iron clad roof, timber-framed verandah supported on stop-chamfered posts (minus detail), and weatherboard clad rear skillion. A red brick corbel-top chimney is attached to the rear skillion and another located in the main roof. Double-hung timber-framed sash windows are generally used and the 4 panel half-glazed front door may be an addition given the loss of the original door noted in 1996.
