Built of local granite, probably dates to the mid 19th Century.BECKWORTH HOMESTEAD - Interpretation of Site
Probably dates to the mid 19th Centured and associated with early pastoralism in the district. Part of Alexander MacCallum's lease 1848, then selected by W.J.T Clarke in 1855.
BECKWORTH HOMESTEAD - Archaeological Significance
Site is of moderate archaeological significance as it is relatively undisturbed and probably contains extensive archaeological deposit. Site has the potential to yield good spatial information.
BECKWORTH HOMESTEAD - Historical Significance
Low local historical significance as it is representitive of the historic thems 'migrating and making a new home' and 'grazing and raising livestock'.

granite and lime mortar four room house with entrances from opposing side and windows either side of entrance doors. All wasll and chimneys standing. Also foundations of other structures (outbuildings) and extensive artefact scatter surrounding.
