/nLike most rushed-gullies, Long Gully would have been re-worked by miners using puddling machines. Site 12.0: Long Gully water race and puddler Water race - System of channels running around the heads of several gullies which direct water to a large puddling dam. Puddler - The puddler has been partly quarried. No pivot post or trench slabbing. The untouched section of the 18ft diameter puddler is still well defined. Most of the wash has been removed. The associated dam has been breached.
Heritage Inventory Significance: Local Integrity of the sites reduced as to have very little interpretive value
