Heritage Inventory History of Site:
Loss of Bristol Beaufort at sea in the Bairnsdale Area on 7 February 1943.
RAAG Mark VI Bristol Beaufort A9-70, was lost at sea on a seaward operational training flight out of Bairnsdale airfield on 7 February 1943.
