DARLOT CREEK STOCK ENCLOSURE - Heritage Inventory Description
Enclosure formed of basalt blocks (unshaped) located on relatively flat part of the stony rises adjacent to Darlots Creek, north of Tyrendarra. Enclosure walls now predominantly rubble, but survive in one section to about 4 courses or 70 cm high.
Heritage Inventory Significance: No historical information is available, it is therefore tentatively assessed as being of local historical and low archaeological significance.
Informant/s: Ian Taylor - Former landowner, identified the site as a sheep pen or sheep yards, but does not have any historical information. This land was owned by his family from 1953 to the 1990s./nRecorded By: Sharon Lane. Date recorded: 05/01
