House - Physical Description 1
This simple timber cottage would appear to be of an early date. The use of Morewod and Rogers patented galvanised iron roofing tiles, the early appearance of the weatherboards on the street facade, and the refined narrow French windows indicate and the building could have been constructed in the late 1850's or 1860's. The verandah would appear to be a late addition, possibly constructed around 1910.
Further research could discover the date of construction of "this building and if the early date is verified this building should be reconstructed.
