Not known but might be associated with the Stanhope Estate, the house of which is located approx 1km to the east of this site. The Stanhope Estate house was built in 1867 by William Winter Irving.STANHOPE ESTATE - FARM BUILDINGS - Interpretation of Site
Farm buildings possibly associated with pastoral activities at Stanhope Estate. Brick feature (collapsed) and artefacts may indicate a house in this area. It was not possible to identify an in situ brick features due to vegetation growth. Animal pens and remnant fenceline to the east.

STANHOPE ESTATE - FARM BUILDINGS - Heritage Inventory Description
Collapsed brick feature under large scrub bush, very disturbed. Exotic trees, some forming a line, possibly denoting an old access road. Animal pens overgrown with trees, abandoned equipment and artefacts.
These collapsed and disused structures may be associated to the pastoral activities of the Stanhope Estate and therefore have regional significance.
Handmade brick rubble, artefact scatter with ceramics, glass and metal. Animal pens. Exotic trees. Collapsed features, possibly a house structure. Old water tank.
