Potentially was the site of an asparagus farm, with a subsurface concrete irrigation system. Little more is known at this stage.

There is a potential for discovery of further sub-surface artefacts which will contribute to a better understanding of late 19th and early 20th centruy domestic disposal patterns.

The low density artefact scatter is likely to represent domestic rubbish deposited sometime after the 1880s wehn Barwon Heads was first establisged as a township. The site is not currently associated wtih any former buildings. In the past, the site was used for sand extraction.
