The Hastings Soldiers Memorial, located in the Foreshore Park on Marine Parade, consists of a granite and marble obelisk with the inscription: "Erected by the residents of East Riding of Frankston and Hastings Shire as a tribute to the men who enlisted, and in memory of those who made the Supreme Sacrifice in the Great War 1914-1919." The obelisk was rededicated to include service in the Second World War, Korea, Malaya, Borneo and Vietnam. In total the memorial lists eighty names of soldiers fallen and returned. Alongside the monument is a memorial honouring Victoria Cross winner, George Morby Ingram.
