Browns Plains Memorial Plantation - Veterans Description for Public
The Browns Plains Memorial Plantation was established in 1918 to honour those who served and died in the First World War. The avenue originally ran between the post office (which was in the Farmers Arms Hotel) and the corner, when the highway dog-legged thorough Browns Plains. Today the plants, although quite sparse on the western side of the avenue, comprise of unidentified eucalyptus species and belladonna lilies.
