Tangambalanga War Memorial - Physical Description 1
A rendered and white painted obelisk, mounted on a stepped concrete base. The whole is encircled by a band of white and behind the obelisk is a flagpole. A black marble plaque with gold lettering reads 'Lest We Forget' and there is a brass laurel wreath as well. Later brass plaques commemorate the Boer War, World War I, World War II; and in Korea, Malaya, Borneo and Vietnam; and there is a 50 year 'Australia Remembers 1945-1995' plaque. The memorial is located within a small corner park and there are mature trees to the rear of the park.

Tangambalanga War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Tangambalanga War Memorial is a rendered and white painted obelisk, mounted on a stepped concrete base, located within a small corner park on Kiewa East Road. The monument is encircled by a band of white and behind the obelisk is a flagpole. A black marble plaque with gold lettering reads 'Lest We Forget' and there is a brass laurel wreath as well. Also affixed are brass plaques commemorating the Boer War, First World War, Second World War, Korea, Malaya, Borneo, Vietnam and an 'Australia Remembers 1945-1995' plaque. Only unveiled on 30 March 1969, it is a relatively recent war memorial.
