The archaeological features possibly relate to a former structure either attached to or immediately adjacent to the bluestone cottage. This cottage is thought to date to 1870s. Property has been subdivided as part of Bluestone Views Estate.
BLUESTONE VIEWS COTTAGE COMPLEX - Archaeological Significance
While sheds and stockyards have been removed as part of the development, the cottage retains original fabric and may contain occupation deposits under floors and surrounding the cottage relating to its 1870s occupation.

Site is of local historical significance as an example of early settlement of the Epping area.

Bluestone cottage and iron farm sheds. The cottage is surrounded by several archaeological features including two circular depressions - possibly former wells or tank stands; brick paving and possible bluestone foundations.
Bluestone cottage; iron sheds; stockyards constructed from old tram rails; other scattered farm vehicles; tanks etc.
