THE SITE IS LOCATED ON THE FORMER PROPERTY OF THE FORD FAMILY WHO OWNED THE LAND FROM THE 1840S UNTIL RECENTLY. PHILLIP FORD SAID THAT HIS FATHER REMEMBERED THE QUARRY OPERATING WHEN HE WAS A BOY, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE 1920S.MARL PIT ACH-2 - Interpretation of Site
