BLUESTONE HOUSE AND OUTBUILDINGS, BLUESTONE QUARRY & DRY STONE WALL - History
THE GRANTEE OF THE LAND WAS WF CLEELAND ON 27 1 1853 WHO PURCASHED 158 ACRES. CLEELAND WAS STILL LISTED ON THE RATES AS THE OWNER IN 1869. BY 1900, JOHN FOX WAS THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY; HE DIED IN 1901 AND HIS SON WILLIAM TOOK OVER THE FARM. IN THE 1950S THE PATERSON FAMILY PURCHASED THE PROPERTY.BLUESTONE HOUSE AND OUTBUILDINGS, BLUESTONE QUARRY & DRY STONE WALL - Interpretation of Site
THE TWO SMALL BLUESTONE BUILDINGS BEHIND THE HOUSE ARE PROBABLY THE OUTHOUSE AND KITCHEN OR LAUNDRY.

A HOMESTEAD WITH FARM COMPLEX INCLUDING DRYSTONE WALLS AND A BLUESTONE QUARRY.
Bluestone house and outbuildings, dry stone walls. Two smaller bluestone buildings exist behind the house. There appears to be a total ofthree quarries and a series of stone walls as of the 04.03.08.
BLUESTONE HOUSE AND OUTBUILDINGS, DRYSTONE WALLS, POTENTIAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL DEPOSITS UNDER AND NEXT TO THE BUILDINGS. THE HOMESTEAD WAS CONSTRUCTED OF BLUESTONE BLOCKS WITH A DOUBLE HIPPED ROOF OF IRON AND NO EAVES. THE CHIMNEY WAS MADE OF RED-ORANGE BRICKS THAT APPEARS TO BE HAND-MADE. TWO SMALLER BLUESTONE BUILDINGS BEHIND HOUSE. BLUESTONE QUARRY AND DRYSTONE WALLS.
