UNKNOWN FATHER & SON GRAVE - History
The history of the grave is not documented, and the story of the unknown father and son comes from a Mr Herbert Bennet, as told to Noel Lees. The story goes that the unknown father was riding his horse in the bush and was implaed by a stick. So was his horse when it fell. It was some days before the body of the rider was discovered, and it was badly decomposed. Later, his five-year-old son was found at his house, starved to death. The father and son were buried together. The story is uncorroborated, and needs further investigation.
