Significant boatbuilding facility, especially for the fishing and small boat community. Archaeological remains of structural components are evident in the eroding bank, along with associated relics.

CAYZER'S BOAT SHED AND SLIPWAY SITE - History
The boatshed/ builders moved to this site from 31 Beach St, and was originally owned by Peter Locke and later the Cayzer Brothers from the late 1940s onwards to 1981.CAYZER'S BOAT SHED AND SLIPWAY SITE - Interpretation of Site
The site is currently evident by a small dock in the curent Cut seawall. Evidence of the former boatbuilding shed foundations and other archaeological deposits are probable under the adjacent section of Larkin Parade/ Beach Street
