STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
302 Autumn Street is a substantial circa 1890s timber house with a good degree of integrity. It is a typical design for the period however it is unusual in Geelong West. It is of local significance.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
The single storey building is clad in weatherboards and the hipped roof is clad in corrugated iron. Two imposing stuccoed chimneys protrude from behind the roof ridge. The central door has two narrow side lights which are made of stained glass. To the east is a large window made up of a large central light and two narrow side lights all of which are double-hung and to the west is a projecting bay window with three lights all double-hung. A verandah extends across the front elevation accenting the bay window by going around it and then returning along the east a west elevations. Decorative elements include the timber eaves brackets and fascia board, and the cast iron verandah columns and valance. The east and west verandah have been filled in at a later date.
