STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A larger brick Edwardian house built in 1908. It is architecturally significant locally as an unusual Edwardian domestic style house, well built and with some interesting elements such as the oeil de boeuf and oculus. it is historically significant asa representative embodiment of the comfortable and assured family life in Edwardian Newtown.

Residence "Ingleweuk" - Physical Description 1
A larger red brick Edwardian triple-fronted house with a hipped slate roof. Gables project at the left side rear and right. The verandah extends around the angle, under the hip. There are terra-cotta finials, ridge-capping and cresting. Chimneys have corbelled upper sections and capping moulds, with terra-cotta pots. Upper gables jetty on brackets, with timbered roughcast over shingles. Below, they are canted (at left) and rectangular (at right) bay windows, with hoods on large coved brackets. The verandah terminated at the entrance at left at a porch, with a large oval oeil de boeuf and at front an oculus. The valence is soldi, with ogee brackets. Posts are turned pairs.
