CLARKS ROAD FARMYARD STRUCTURE - History
The Clarks Road farmyard structure of may have been an animal shelter or shed to a larger farm complex. The Livingstone Parish plan identifies this property as Crown Allotment 29 in the north-eastern section of the parish. It consisted of 162 acres and was granted to A C Clark, presumably the property owner after whom the road was named. It is possible that this site relates to the Clark period of occupation.

Moderate - farmyard structure is located in a paddock under grass and would have only suffered minimal ground disturbance. Some potential for sub-surface remains.

CLARKS ROAD FARMYARD STRUCTURE - Heritage Inventory Description
Site is located in a paddock under grass. Remains of the structure comprise a double-walled foundation with a concrete rubble filled cavity. The foundations extend 5.3m northeast - southwest length and 5.3m northwest - southeast in width. Fragments of metal cladding are attached to the exterior foundation wall. The interior of the structure is composed of a compacted clay floor. No artefacts were recorded in association with the structure.
