Unit - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
An unusual, almost symmetrical, double-fronted timber Edwardian house with a hipped roof. The verandah extends across and returns at right under the hip. Under at left is a canted bay window at the angle; at right a rectangular bay on the splay, with a gablet over (obscured). The valence is wavy palisade, with fretwork and deep Art Nouveau fretwork brackets and a central arch, at the entrance. This has a paneled glazed floor with a fan and sidelights, all coloured lead lights next to a small leadlight window with a bell-shaped head. Chimneys are symmetrical. The garden is appropriate.
