STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
90 Elizabeth Street has a symmetrical front facade, with triple gables and a portico, unusual in bungalow design. It has an excellent degree of integrity. It is of local significance.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
The single storey timber building is clad in weatherboards and the gabled roof is clad in corrugated iron. There are two plain red brick chimneys. The front elevation is dominated by the large central gable with two smaller projecting gables symmetrically placed. The barge boards of the three gables from a diamond shape. Part of the tympanum of the smaller gables has restrained decoration in the form of wooden shingles and the large central louvered vent, made from timber. The slightly recessed main entrance is accented by the flat roofed portico supported by brick piers and fine, paired timber accented by the flat roofed portico supported by brick piers and fine, paired timber columns. Either side of the entrance is a double-hung tripartite window. The remains in parts of these windows. There are only a few symmetrical triple gable elevations in Geelong West. Although they are very similar, the variations in the porch design in notable. The excellent degree of integrity of this building is enhanced by the paint colours and the early fence and hedge.
