CROOKS' HOTEL SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
This site is located in open forest, and comprises artefact scatters and three ruinous chimneys with stone bases.the location of the original McEvoys Track travelled straight from east-west immediately north of this site where the present day track loops around to the south of this site before resuming its direction to the east and west. The original track is still accessible and vegetation allows for movement around vegetation obstacles. The old 1866c Crinoline Track becomes impassable by a vehicle before it reaches present day McEvoys Track due to vegetation growth.
