      Frenchmans Gully Alluvial Workings were established in May 1857.

      FRENCHMANS GULLY PUDDLER NO. 1 - Interpretation of Site

      Puddling machine located within the Frenchmans Gully alluvial workings which consists mainly of surface sluicing and shallow alluvial shafts.

      FRENCHMANS GULLY PUDDLER NO. 1 - Heritage Inventory Description

      Puddling machine located within the Frenchmans Gully Alluvial workings, approximately 6 .7m in diameter with an inner mound approximately 3.7m diameter. The puddler is in good condition.
