TRIVALVE QUARTZ MINE - History
The mine was operated by Laurie Lakey, whose father had worked the mine previously.
Evidently the mine was worked intermittently by the Lakey family, who were well known local mining identities, perhaps best known for their involvement with the famous Union Hill mine at Maldon. The Lakey family also had interests in various lesser known local mining ventures.
TRIVALVE QUARTZ MINE - Interpretation of Site
