Heritage Inventory Description
MALDON MAGNESITE SHAFT - Heritage Inventory Description
Site comprises a shallow open shaft estimated at 1.8m deep and several small, shallow excavations in the bank of a small dry creek. Magnesite nodules are visible in the walls of the shallow shaft. The surrounding surface is littered with hand specimen size modules, all xhibiting a weathered appearance.
