Memorial Window Description & History
Stained Glass Window at Stratford St. Andrew's Uniting Church - Memorial Window Description & History
St. Andrew's Uniting, formerly the town's Presbyterian Church has a series of windows, all by Brooks, Robinson & Co. Although this window does not appear in their job books of the period, it was likely that it was ordered by the Rev. Anderson who ordered four windows for the church in May 1952. The grapevine ornament at the head of the window replaced the older style of architectural canopy. The cartoon for David was also used as the subject Jonathan for St. Columb's, Hawthorn in November 1952.
