Stained Glass Window at Taminick St. George's Anglican Church - Memorial Window Description & History
The Benalla Ensign reported the dedication of an altar, prayer desk and memorial window given by Mrs. M.A. Atkinson to St. George's Church, Taminick on Sunday 4 August 1946. The dedications were undertaken by the Bishop of Wangaratta who afterwards addressed the capacity congregation. The altar was given in memory of John A Atkinson and his son, Frederick and the window in memory of the servicemen of the Parish. [The small wooden church is one of only a few buildings in the district of Taminick. It was still standing in 2001 BH]
