Stained Glass Window at Werribee St. Thomas' Anglican Church - Memorial Window Description & History
The brick Church of St. Thomas was built in 1900 from a design by Inskip and Butler; the latter was architect to the Melbourne Diocese from 1895. It replaced a timber church of 1856 which remains on the site. The Reverend KH Roberts ordered the two-light window, each measuring 48 x 19 inches, from Brooks, Robinson & Co. in May 1949 and it was unveiled and dedicated at the 11 am service on 8 January the following year.
