Why is it significant?
This Norfolk Island Pine is scientifically significant for its large size in the drier climate of the western region of Melbourne. It is significant for its contribution to the garden landscape of Werribee Park and is historically significant for belonging to a collection of original plantings during the Chirnside ownership of the property in the 1870’s.
