STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
The dwelling at52 Creswell Street is believed to have housed the former Marcus Hill Post Office from c 1912. It is hipped roof weatherboard building and the place has various outbuildings and a number of mature trees.
It is of Local Cultural significance.

Fmr Post Office "Creswell Park" - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
The building is sited on a large corner block, with mature pines and gum trees ,and various outbuildings. The late Victorian house is a single storey , timber framed and weatherboard clad structure, painted white.
It has a hipped roof clad in new corrugated iron, two ornate polychrome brick chimneys, and decorative timber eave brackets in pairs. The return verandah on the north and west elevations is a recent addition. The original north elevation small bull nosed verandah has been removed. The north elevation has an ornate timber front door with a top light, and two pairs of narrow timber framed windows with shutters, symmetrically arranged either side of the door. The south west corner of the building has a new extension.
