STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCEThis former dairy complex has a high degree of integrity and includes a weatherboard residence built in Federation style, an outbuilding and a domed concrete well. It is of historic significance to the local Wallington community. This former dairy complex represents the smallscale agricultural farming activity of the Wallington area, especially the dairying industry. The place operated as a dairy until 1957-58 and has a small brick outbuilding in which the separator was located and a well. It is of LOCAL cultural significance.

Residence - Physical Description 1
Description
A corrugated iron,weatherboard Federation house with a front projecting gable. The gable has a corrugated iron roof window hood with timber brackets and stucco style strutwork decoration. The two red brick chimneys are on the south side and the rafters project from under the eaves. The corrugated iron roof verandah has timber posts and fretwork decoration. There is a domed concrete well with the inscription AD 1915 W L. The rendered concrete is peeling off the small red brick outbuilding which has a corrugated iron roof. The significant architectural features are the original roof form and finish, the original materials, doors and windows, the intact verandah decoration and structure and the gable decoration.
